On March 19, the only school in South Lake Union will be welcoming alumni, families, community partners and neighbors to attend a glorious evening of auction, hosted by John Curley, former host of Evening Magazine, and Emcee, Jim Dever of King 5 TV, culinary delights, and the live jazz of Ernie Bracco. As a sponsor, you can gain exposure for your organization by supporting us. We will be delighted to advertise your organization on our program as a sponsor. Invitations will be sent out to 3,000 people. Display ads for our event program may also be purchased. Silent Auction Table Sponsors and PowerPoint Slide Advertisers are also sought. This is a special year to reach out to you to extend your generosity to our unique program. This year we celebrate our 30th anniversary of changing lives for students who otherwise were not successful in school and of training teachers in best practices. It is because of you, our donors, that we raised $75,000 for our school last year and were able to offer scholarships and provide funding for much needed materials. All funds generated go directly to support the school, its programs, and its scholarship fund. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax ID 91-1183562, non-profit 501 (c) 3. Tickets are $65/each and include a gourmet plated dinner, live jazz and entry to auctions. Morningside Academy fulfills a community service to educate children who may not have been successful in other school settings, who may hold a diagnosis of a learning disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or another disability. The academy enjoys an international reputation as an “academic gymnasium” that has helped more than 20,000 students to date.
